Unsung Heroes logoThe California Community Foundation (CCF) and The Eisner Foundation recently honored Cornerstone Theater Company for its outstanding achievements in community leadership at Unsung Heroes, an event celebrating the power and impact of giving back to underserved communities.

Hosted by actor and CCF donor Noah Wyle, Unsung Heroes was held on September 16 at The Getty Center. Cornerstone was recognized alongside 14 other nonprofit organizations for their innovation, resilience and impact in improving the quality of life for low-income L.A. residents in five areas: the arts, education, health care, human development and neighborhood revitalization.

At the event, Cornerstone was further distinguished as one of five organizations being given the Palevsky Award of $10,000 each, named after late philanthropist Joan Palevsky.

We here at Cornerstone Theater Company are grateful to The California Community Foundation and The Eisner Foundation and are humbled by this esteemed honor!
