Volunteer

Writing Opportunities

I'm a playwright. Can I submit my work to Cornerstone?

We do not currently accept unsolicited submissions without representation. Please do not send us your play or your sample pages. We generally work with playwrights whose work we know and respect, and who know us. Make sure you are on our mailing list in order to receive information about our shows and the company.

Cornerstone is a multi-ethnic, ensemble-based theater company. Over the past 20 years we have commissioned more than 30 playwrights and produced over 70 new works, including adaptations of classic texts and original plays. Our productions combine the artistry of both professional and community collaborators. All of our original, community-based plays are commissioned to reflect a specific theme, based on our collaboration with a particular group of people.
