Tuition

The tuition cost is $3000, which includes housing and meals for four weeks of onsite study, textbook, materials and much more.

There is limited tuition assistance available through the generosity of a few sponsored scholarships, however we cannot accommodate all requests for assistance.  We recommend that individuals seek grants & scholarships or professional development funds through your employer, university or cultural & civic service organizations in your community to help you meet tuition and /or travel costs.

If you are applying for tuition assistance through Cornerstone, you must include a Statement of Need with your application. A Statement of Need is a short essay explaining your current financial circumstances and include a specific amount of assistance that you would need to be able to attend Cornerstone Institute this summer.

See the Institute application form for further information.

Housing

Housing is provided.  Cornerstone Institute Staff and Students will live and work together in the classrooms of a local school campus.  Student participants share rooms.  The Institute’s adapted living situations are surprisingly comfortable with twin beds and other amenities provided through Cornerstone Institute’s Company Management.

Transportation

Participants are responsible for travel to and from the Institute. Shuttles to and from Los Angeles International Airport and/or downtown’s Union Station may be offered. Details TBA.  If you want to bring your own car or a bicycle to the Institute, it would be helpful, but is not required.
